I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who stopped by Artevo Gallery yesterday to attend my painting demo and artist reception. It was wonderful for me to interact with everyone and to be available for those who have not yet been able to meet with me.

For my painting demo, I chose to work on a local (Victoria, B.C.) painting of Glenlyon Norfolk School (Beach Drive Campus). This building was originally designed by notorious architect Francis Rattenbury (who also designed the Victoria Parliament Buildings and the Empress Hotel), and it was used as his dwelling for a time. Today, it houses the junior level students at Glenlyon Norfolk School.

Once again, thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. I sincerely appreciate your support and ongoing feedback.
